OPTIMATIC It will always be very important for a band saw (sawmill) to correctly tension, level and straighten in order to yield good profitsOne can do this using a classic levelling & tensioning bench as it has been done for years up to now . A good bench however will not be sufficient, it also needs the right man skilled enough to operate such a bench. That one man who knows his trade will therefore be the decisive factor of the yields and turnover of the whole investment. No one can afford to make the success or failure of a sawmill depended on one single man, on his presence or absence, his moods… Moreover, only one man knowing the trade will have a responsibility that is too large to bear alone.  Today, we have equipped more than 20 different sawmills with automatic machines that are performing these jobs and they have a positive influence on the yields and turnover of the saw mills. Our customers are located in different countries, both in Europe and Africa. The machines are built by mr. Oppliger in Switzerland under the brand name of OPTIMATIC Everyone using this machine in the middle of his/her saw mill (grinding room) will testify without exception that this machine is a big step forward towards independence for exploiting and return of investment. It means an increase in both quality of the finished product and volume of treated logs. Return on investment varies between 2 and 5 years. OPTIMATIC managed to put cost effectiveness and yield of a sawmill into a whole new light.
